I'd had surgery before. I'm comfortable in hospitals. Usually understand medicalese very well but this time around I had family with me. I wasn't sure I'd ask all needed questions, or remember the answers. I just didn't trust myself.
What was maddening since I am not a patient person is all the tests and diagnostics. Multiple blood draws then drives to the city for tests. Then wait for answers from docs, The sonogram wasn't difficult, neither was the uptake/scan in one day.
This was another family visit.I wasn't sure I'd remember what I needed to or the answers to the questions I had. No longer am I feeling comfortable and confident heading to the doctors.
Woke up at 5:45am finally crawled out of bed at 6:00am and went to do my Wednesday walk with Joseph we stared at 6:30am and we went 2.40 miles at a average pace of 2.79mph. This was my first time walking since my ankle issue. My heart rate did not skyrocket which was great.

I was diagnosed with diabetes on 5/23. The Hemoglobin A1C test is used to determine a diagnosis of diabetes. The normal range for this test is 4.8% - 5.6%. A value higher than 6.5% indicates diabetes. My percentage is 6.7%.
