Treatment
Today we had to meet with the original surgeon to find out Jim's three month PSA level check after surgery. It came back as .01!!!!! Yeah!!! I cannot keep the tears from coming while in the doctor's office. So great to hear that Jim is cancer free right now! We have been through so much already if his PSA level would have been elevated it would have been devastating! Now Jim feels like he has a future! His spirits are lifted and we both feel like we can handle anything now. Just as long as Jim can be healthy. Now we can concentrate on the next big thing, the surgery to close the hole in his colon. That is our next big obstacle. The doctor talked with us about the hole. He has done over 400 of the Da Vinci surgeries and Jim is the only one he has had this issue with. He cannot figure out what happened because there were no complications with the prostatectomy at all. We have our fingers crossed that the surgery goes well and he heals completely!!!
