Treatment
We met with the colorectal surgeon. Jim's surgery to fix the hole in his colon is now scheduled for Nov. 12! He still has to have a catheter in, but being able to move around with the leg bag is so much better than the large bag. Now that we have a date set, we have hopefully an ending in sight. The only things we are still very concerned about is healing from this next surgery. If after two weeks he is still not healed, a colostomy bag will be put in and Jim is not happy about that. We are also still concerned about PSA level. If it is elevated at all, Jim will need radiation treatment, but he cannot do this until he completely heals from this next surgery. So many unknowns.
