Healing
I've been watching the NFL "Tackle Breast Cancer" this month. Being a hetero I know why we focus on "saving the ta-ta's". However, Prostate cancer is just as common among men as breast cancer is in women. Why don't we as men put this disease out there? Is it beacuse of the devastating side effects of treatmnet? Is it because P.C. tends to hit us later in life? Is it because we are bullet proof in our own minds until we find out we are indeed human? We as men and survivors have a duty to get "OUR" disease out there in the forefront. This why I am on the web site. This is why I blog. There needs to be a better cure for US. One that doesn't potentially leave us incontent and suffering from erectile dysfunction. We as survivors have got to find a way to make Survivor Blue just as recognizable as Survivor Pink.
