Life Rolls On produces adaptive surfing, skating and snowboarding programs which empower paraplegics and quadriplegics to demonstrate that anything is possible despite paralysis. In addition to unique quality of life events, LRO fosters spinal cord injury awareness and offers outreach to individuals and their families at the onset of injury. All programs are provided at no-cost to participants and, while our primary mission is to serve young people with spinal cord injury, no one challenged by mobility is ever turned away and people of all ages are welcome.

They Will Surf Again
Currently hosted in 7 cities across 5 states, They Will Surf Again (TWSA) is our signature quality of life program. We provide expert instruction and adaptive equipment, so those living with paralysis can experience the freedom and mobility of riding a wave.
THEY WILL SKATE AGAIN
They Will Skate Again
From chairskating to assisted skateboarding, They Will Skate Again (TWSkateA) assists individuals with varied levels of mobility to shred at the skate park. Held in California and Texas annually
THEY WILL SKI AGAIN
They Will Ski Again
They Will Ski Again (TWSkiA) pairs expert adaptive ski instructors with paralyzed individuals who want to experience the thrill of snowboarding. The inaugural event in 2009, underwritten by 11-time world champion surfer Kelly Slater, allowed LRO’s programs to grow from the surf to the slopes.
SPINAL CORD INJURY AWARENESS
From promoting spinal cord injury awareness at local events to producing an Emmy-nominated Public Service Announcement (PSA), we champion initiatives that create a better understanding about spinal cord injury.
