I am pleased to let you know about this special breakfast celebrating survivorship and progress being made in prostate cancer. It’s all part of our Advance on Washington, Pushing for Progress in Prostate Cancer week with events and meetings in Washington sponsored by PCF, ZERO, PHEN and the Black Barbershop Health Outreach Program. If you live in the D.C. area, or know anyone who is interested in attending, go to www.pcf.org/breakfast and register as soon as possible.
Special guests will include R&B recording artist Charlie Wilson, former lead singer for the The Gap Band and recipient of two 2010 Grammy nominations, Jean Fogelberg, wife of the late music legend, Dan Fogelberg, who lost his battle to prostate cancer in 2008, and Reverend Rosey Grier, a member of the NFL’s famed Fearsome Foursome.
