I voted yesterday for the PCF ! Hope the organization gets the much needed donation for research. One of the men I know had his prostatectomy at Duke last Monday and the other friend I have mentioned in my blogs is having his today. My thoughts and prayers are with them both. The surgeon is highly skilled and has done well over 2,000 of these surgeries. He is meticulous and treats each of his patients as if they are the only patient he has to operate on. As I approach the 6 month check up in February that old nagging fear starts up again. "Do I still have an undetectable PSA?" I certainly hope so. I really want to put that chapter of my life astern and never have to look at the other options. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and to all the survivors out there "Let's have a very Merry Christmas season."
