FINALLY getting around to it-

Treatment
Busy few months- not really getting my husband on board to taking over anything- Jessi helps out quite a bit- she's cooking dinner three nights a week- and she is doing the minor grocery shopping for me. This is good for her- she's trying to get back in shape after being sick- and giving her the lead with meals and planning is helping quite a bit. We're also doing a women's group ride every Tuesday out of Pasadena- she was solo last night since I'm not riding this week. She had a blast- and this weekend she wants to take John & me on the route they did.

As for my eating- my challenge now will be to eat for maintenance. I had my training meals tuned in- and did great for the race- I rode 5 legs- 33-43 miles each in a 24 hour period and never bonked- never felt hungry- that was even with 111 degree temp average for one leg, and 3 legs with heavy winds.

NOW- I need to figure what/ how to eat so I can stay strong, and not gain weight.....

So- yesterday (June 3rd)-

6:00am- whey shake with almond milk (I'll bring the container to next meeting, Monica)
small banana

9:00am- chicken burrito (beans, rice, chicken, pico de gallo wrapped in a Teff tortilla

12:00pm- veggie salad (tomato, garbanzo beans, peppers, cauliflower, onion, carrots) balsalmic dressing

3:00 gluten free crackers & hummus

6:30 Swedish meatballs (ground lean turkey, gluten free bread crumbs, seasoning) in a arrowroot veggie broth gravy, rice

bed @ 8:00.....
