Tomorrow my husband will have a bone scan. We both feel that this will confirm how much the cancer has spread.
The hormone treatment that he started a week ago has left him very tired all the time. He has no energy to do even small tasks. He is very depressed. He feels pain in his stomach and seems to have shortness of breath. I hate to admit it but he still smokes and hasn't cut back, he feels there is no reason to stop that right now. I am sure if the doctor told him that he had to he would.
I have just reserved tickets to travel to Colorado to visit family for the holidays. I am hoping this wasn't a mistake but I think he needs to be with our oldest daughter and son. If they came here to Maine, it would be difficult for him and the kids. Getting away, a change of scenery for a week seems like something we should do right now.
