Anyone here ever dealt with a heart murmur? I have one that can be corrected but it cost about $100K to do it. I can't understand how putting in a small valve can possibly cost so much. The hospitals have got to be making a massive profit.
Does anyone know what do to if you have a condition that can be corrected but you can't afford the med costs? Is it common for hospitals to let people die if they don't have enough money?
