Wellbeing
I just realized it has been 3 months since my last post here. I hope everyone and your families are well.

The Gary Papa Prostate Cancer 5k was a great success! My wife and I raised close to $4000.00 for our Penn Urology team. The race is sponsored by Prostate Heath International. It was a fun race day. I blew away my time from last year! I saw men younger than me line up when they asked for all Prostate Cancer survivors to come forward. One young man said to me "Wow, I want to be in shape like you!" I told him "You can be!" He smiled and his wife smiled at me with new found hope and drive that he won't let his cancer define him.

Running has become my passion. God gave me this opportunity to get through my cancer and everyday I want to be an example to all men that you can beat this. You can continue to "Be". I run for every man out there who "is" fighting their battle now and those who have beaten it and also for those who have unfortunately lost that battle.

Right now I'm training for the Navy/Air Force 1/2 marathon in DC in September. I'm looking forward to a fun run.
